David is happily married to an educator, who works with the Public School Board with whom he has three wonderful children. He is a volunteer coach in a local minor hockey and soccer league. He is also a volunteer with Reach Canada, an organization that helps people with disabilities.
David is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Ottawa Valley Brain Injury Association, and the County of Carleton Law Association. David is on the executive of the REACH education committee He keeps up to date on the latest legal development through regular participation in continuing legal education courses.
David regularly acts as a guest instructor at the University of Ottawa faculty of law, teaching the trial advocacy course to third year law students.
