Perth accident Highway 7 results in death and personal injuries.
Ontario Injury Lawyers… Sadly, a Perth , Lanark area woman died after her van was struck pulling out of a driveway on Highway 7 yesterday. Lanark police reported that the terrible accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. Lanark police reported that a pickup truck was westbound on Highway 7, close to Gamles Side Road, just 10 km west of Perth, when it collided with a van that was coming from a driveway. The driver of the van, an 80 year old woman from the Perth sadly died at the accident scene. The driver of the truck , a 49-year-old man from Oakville Ontario, was thankfully uninjured in the Lanark accident; however, 2 of his passengers were: a 48 year old woman and a young teenage girl. Both injured passengers were rushed to the Perth Hospital by ambulance with personal injuries. Two other girls were in the truck but thankfully were uninjured. Ontario Police are investigating the accident. My thoughts go out to the 2 injured victims and the friends and family of the deceased 80 year old woman…

Tragic Lanark Accident, Highway 7 accident results in 3 deaths and serious personal injury.
Ottawa Personal Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth…Sadly, John Duffy from Orleans, his talented son Thomas and Sharbot Lake’s Karen Thompson died today as the result of in a terrible accident close to Silver Lake on Highway 7, west of Perth. John Duffy was 47 and his son Thomas was 16. They were on their way to a skiing event, where Thomas was sure to have done well. Both died when their vehicle was in a head on accident between Maberly and Sharbot Lake early this morning. Sadly, Karen Thompson who was 39 and from Mountain Grove also died in this terrible car accient scene shortly after the paramedics arrived. She was a mother of four children. Thankfully, the two others passengers survived but suffered serious personal injury. They were rushed to Perth Hospital and were being treated for serious personal injury. Thomas’ brother Eric Duffy, 10 is recovering at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and is in stable condition. Steve Hambling, 53, also survived the terrible accident and suffered multiple fractures . Black ice was to blame for the accident. Thomas was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and his dad was taken to the Civic campus of the Ottawa Hospital. Lanark accident highway 511 results in 2 wrongful deaths.
Lanark County Police reported a two-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of one man and another suffering serious personal injury. The Lanark police were called to the intersection of Highway 511 and Drummond Concession 7 at about 7:17 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, Nov. 27. The driver of a Mazda hatchback travelling west on Drummond Concession 7 and hit a GMC pickup truck traveling south on Highway 511. Sadly, the driver of the pick up truck died and the driver of the other car was taken to an Ottawa hospital. Both men are residents of Lanark County.

Ontario Provincial Police say a Lanark County man identified as 47-year-old Christopher Curran died at the scene. Another man was seriously injured in the collision on Highway 511 Sunday.
Sadly, this morning OPP investigators said that Ronald Cooper, 35, died in hospital as a result of his personal injuries.
My thoughts go out to both of these grieving families…

Thankfully, there were no life-threatening injuries reported.

The head on collision occurred in Lanark last night a little after 9 p.m. Tragically, a 44 year old man drove into the lane for oncoming traffic on a curve at Pine Grove Rd. His vehicle struck another driver’s vehicle resulting in his death and serious personal injuries to the other driver. The other driver, a woman sustained personal injuries. My thoughts go out to the fgrieving amily and friends of the 44 year old man who died. They will have a tough road ahead of them. I also wish the other woman and full and healthy recovery and I hope the injuries she sustained are not life-altering.
