Ontario Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth…Fatal Hawkesbury Accident on Highway 17…Regrettably, one person has died when their car hit a tractor-trailer east of Ottawa Thursday morning. The Hawkesbury accident occurred on County Road 17 in East Hawkesbury, about 110 kilometres east Ottawa. The car hit a tracotr-trailer between Tupper Street and Golf Road. The driver of the truck did not suffer any personal injuries. My thoughts go out to the friends and family of the deceased man..

Sadly, a 28-year-old Ottawa man has died after a terrible Ottawa accident involving a road sign early this morning. Ottawa emergency services needed to the fatal Ottawa accident at Robertson and Westcliffe roads at 1:22 a.m. in the Bells Corners. The deceased Ottawa man was trapped in his car with multiple life-threatening personal injuries. Ottawa firefighters were able to remove him from his car and performed CPR but sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Ottawa Personal Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth … Unfortunately, with winter here, there are far more recreation vehicle accidents out there. I’m sorry to report of a fatal ATV accident outside of l’Ange Gardien this past Friday. Sadly, 50-year-old Yvan Bergeron of Gatineau was driving his ATV on route 309 around 10:30 p.m. without any lights on and was killed. Yvan Bergeron was then hit and later pronounced dead at a Buckingham hospital. My thoughs go out to the Bergeron family and their friends. Police are asking anyone who had seen or talked to Yvan Bergeron on Friday to contact them at 819-459-9911, extension 3286.
There were 194 fatal ATV accidents in Ontario last year. We need to do everything we can to bring this number down and aim to make ATV riding a safer activity.

Ontario Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth, Ottawa Accident Lawyer….A 51-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges in connection with a hit-and-run Smiths Falls accident last Sunday night that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. 40-year-old Thomas Irvine who is from Smiths Falls, was struck by a van at around 8 p.m. Sadly, he later died in hospital. The driver of the vehicle fled the accident scene after the Smith Falls accident. He was located a short time later. My thoughts go out to the friends and family of Thomas Irvine….

Ontario Accident Lawyer David Hollingsworth …Sadly, a 17-year-old boy from Pembroke has died in a car accident after the pickup truck he was driving crashed in L’Isle-Aux-Allumettes, Quebec, yesterday afternoon. The tragic accident took place at around 5:30 p.m. close to 200 Desjardinville Rd. The truck flipped over several times before it finally came to a stop. The 17-year-old was then transported to a Pembroke hospital but did not survive was pronounced dead. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident but police have said that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident. My thoughts and sympathy goes out to the friends and family of this young boy…

Ottawa Personal Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth — Sadly, an Ottawa man from Orléans died after an Ontario accident on Highway 17 near Alfred, Ontario east of Ottawa early this morning at around 3 a.m. between County Road 15 and Peladeau Road. The man from Orléans was driving a minivan that collided with a tractor trailer. Sadly, the driver of the tractor trailer, a man from Oshawa, also died in the Ontario accident. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of both these men…
Ghislain Landry was recently married and was the father of 2 young children : a four year old and a 15 month old baby.

Ontario Personal Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth.. Sadly, a mother and daughter died after and accident Friday night on Champlain Street in Clarence Creek near Rockland. Doris Billings, 74, and Bertha Clairoux, 51, were travelling in the same car when they died. The cause of the accident is unknown. The accident occurred sometime around 6:30 p.m. Roads were closed between Champlain Street and Henrie Road and Du Golf Road while accident investigators worked to determine what caused ther acccident. A possible cause for the accident may have been black ice mixed with slush on the road. Drivers will frequently spin out of control at this point due to slippery road conditions. My thoughts go out to this grieving family.

401 Car accident results in tragic death of Jason Eligh, Ottawa personal injury lawyer David Hollingsworth
Ontario Personal Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth.. Tragically, young 24-year-old Jason Eligh, from Mallorytown died after two wheels went flying off a tractor-trailer on Highway 401 this past Sunday night. The Ontario accident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. just west of Brockville. Ontario Provincial Police say the trailer was headed westbound when the rear wheels came off, crossed the concrete barrier and struck Jason’s car. Eligh was killed. An autopsy will take place Monday in Ottawa. Eligh is the father of two very young children. His death has left his workplace in a state of shock. Ontario Police say the wheels kept going and hit another vehicle before bouncing back over the barrier and landing in a ditch. Police located the tractor-trailer about 100 kilometres from where the crash happened.
I drove by this very spot about 4 hours before this terrible accident. My thoughts go out to Jason’s friends and family . What a terrible tragedy for this family, especially his 2 young children.
ELIGH, Jason Obituary - Tragically as a result of an accident in Brockville on Sunday December 11, 2011. Jason Gareth Eligh of Mallorytown age 24 years. Beloved son of Larry and Sandra (Birtch) Eligh, cherished father of Gabrielle and Parker, loving brother and best friend of Erika Merkley, uncle of Tyson and Cayden. Jason is survived by his grandparents Donald and Edna Eligh and Eilean Koen as well as by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason will be fondly remembered by Ainsley the mother his children and her parents Stuart and Tammy Spurrell and their son Ryan. Predeceased by his grandfather John Koen. Family and friends may call at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
