Ottawa Personal Injury Lawyers David Hollingsworth and Associates… Tragically, a 27 year old female cyclist has died. She was hit by a car last night , close to Carleton University. The terrible Ottawa accident occurred on Bronson Avenue. Although an off-duty paramedic was able to treat the accident victim before the ambulance arrived, it was not enough. She was rushed to the Ottawa Trauma Centre at the Civic Hospital and was in multi-system traumas. Sadly, she was pronounced dead in the Ottawa Trauma Centre. The accident is still under investigation. Ottawa Police are not considering this accident a hit and run accident. Ottawa Police have also reported that there is no evidence that speed was a factor in deadly accident. My thoughts go out to her friends and family at this very sad and difficult time.
