Ottawa Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth…A 12-year-old girl is thankfully at home after a hit and run Ottawa accident in the east end yesterday. Kalie Panula was on her way to school yesterday morning when a car pulled out from behind an OC Transpo bus and hit her. Panula believes that the grey Honda CRV started to slow down, but then sped up once he saw her and hit her head-on. Panula was thrown several feet but thankfully landed on her knapsack, which prevented her from hitting her head and possibly suffering a head injury. Panula described the driver as “ a scrawny man in his 50s”.
Anyone who may have information or who witnessed this Ottawa accident is asked to contact the Ottawa Police.
