Ottawa personal injury lawyer David Hollingsworth reports: Ottawa Pedestrian Accident
An 18 year-old male was tragically struck by a car in the early morning this Saturday on the Chaudière Bridge, and transported to the Gatineau hospital shortly thereafter. The Gatineau police report that a vehicle crossing the bridge struck the male, rendering him unconscious after taken to hospital. No other details were reported regarding his name or extent of personal injuries. The collision was not a “hit and run”, since the vehicle driver remained on the scene. No charges have yet been laid against the driver. Apparently, speed and alcohol have not been ruled in as factors. There is an investigation still in progress.
