David Hollingsworth and Associates…Injury Lawyers in Ottawa Ontario… I was astonished to read that the Ottawa Police gave out 700 tickets this past Thanksgiving weekend. “Operation Impact” was an Ottawa traffic blitz that aimed to reduce speeding and aggressive driving, improper use of seatbelts and restraints, distracted driving and impaired driving. All 4 of these areas are illegal, but more importantly they are extremely UNSAFE ! It’s so important for us all to remember that our children are also in the backseat watching and learning from our driving habits. Please be a driving role model for the generation of drivers to come. We truly play an important role in the messages we give our children when it comes to driving safely. 700 tickets being issued in 3 days is frightening. I hope the message here hits home as we work towards having safe driving in Ottawa !
