Clarence Rockland volunteer firefighter Nicholas Vachon died Saturday night.

Accident Clarence Rockland

Ontario Injury Lawyers David Hollingsworth and Associates…I’m so sorry to share this terrible news of a volunteer firefighter who left a Clarence-Rockland Christmas party on foot and sadly was killed Saturday night.  Nicholas Vachon was 31 years old and was walking home when he was hit by a car on Landry Street , close to Baseline Road. The party was at Clarence Creek Arena and was a party to honour  150 Clarence-Rockland municipal employees and their guests.  Nicholas was described as an incredibly positive person, someone who wanted to make a difference and someone who wanted to help others.  Nicholas was walking along the side of the road when he was hit by a car. Sadly, he died on route to hospital. Nicholas was very close with his family and had recently spent quality time with his brother and sister. The details of the accident are still unknown and police are investigating. My thoughts go out to Nicholas’ family, friends and the community at his very tragic time.
