OTTAWA — A pedestrian suffered minor injuries after being struck by an OC Transpo bus while crossing Cobourg Street at Rideau Street shortly before noon on Monday. Ottawa police said the bus driver could not see the pedestrian in his blind spot. Two passengers on the bus also received minor injuries and all three were taken to hospital, however the most serious injury was cuts to the pedestrian’s arm when he fell to the ground. The incident is under investigation and no charges have been laid.

Ottawa School Bus Accident results in Pedestrian Fatality

Ottawa School bus accident, pedestrian accident— The Ottawa Citizen reported that a 45-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a terrible Ottawa accident that resulted in death, involving a school bus that sadly, killed a pedestrian last Thursday. Sharron Brazeau of Ottawa was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario . Tragically, Richard Beaupre, 50, was struck at the intersection of Russell Road and Haig Drive on March 26 while crossing an intersection. He did not die at the scene of the accident. He was left in critical condition with severe head injuries and later died in an hospital. His family donated his organs. My thoughts go out to his friends and family…

Bus Accident in Ottawa, life threatening injuries.

Ottawa Bus Accident Lawyer David Hollingsworth- Ottawa man suffers critical injuries after accident with Ottawa school bus. The Ottawa man was rushed to an Ottawa hospital after suffering serious personal injuries such as a head injury, after being hit by a local Ottawa school bus. Ottawa Police said the accident at the intersection of Haig Drive and Russell Road involved a school bus with 3 children riding the bus at the time. Ottawa paramedics stated that the man had no vital signs when they entered the Ottawa accident scene. Luckily, they were able to revive him and got him to The Ottawa Hospital. An hour later he was listed in critical condition with severe life-threatening personal injuries. Ottawa Police said the Ottawa bus driver, a woman, and 3 young children thankfully were not hurt. Police are investigating Russell Road between Industrial Avenue and Smyth Road.
