The motorcycle accident occurred on Vaughan Side Road, near Bearhill and Forest Edge roads, not far from the village of Carp on the city’s west side. An air ambulance was sent to the site. A driver of the dirt bike  was found in a field but Ottawa police could not provide details about age or gender. Police said the victim may have suffered a serious back injury in the accident. The cause of the accident was unknown.
