Cynthia Kane was travelling on Bruham Ave., west of Pembroke, shortly before 3:30 p.m. OPP said the local public transit bus was on its regular route when the incident took place. Investigators were still trying to determine exactly what had happened.The woman was taken to Pembroke hospital, then to the Civic hospital in Ottawa where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy was slated for yesterday.
