Ottawa Cycling Accident: Dynes Road and Fisher Ave results in head injury and leg injury.
Ottawa Cycling Accident , Ottawa Bicycle Accident…Ottawa police are investigating an Ottawa accident involving a 21-year-old cyclist who was hit by a pickup truck early yesterday morning. The Ottawa cyclist was hit by the truck near Dynes Road and Fisher Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. The cyclist was taken to an Ottawa hospital with a leg injury and head injury and is in stable condition. Police have not released any names and are continuing to investigate what led to the Ottawa bicycle accident.

The accident happened at 10:48 p.m. at the intersection of Parkdale and Lyndale avenues. The 28-year-old motorcyclist was heading north on Parkdale Avenue, while a 27-year-old man driving a Chevrolet Malibu was going south. “The car made a left turn onto a driveway, cutting off the motorcycle, which collided with the car,” said Ottawa police spokesman Const. Jean Paul Vincelette. Paramedics treated the motorcyclist at the scene for head, neck and back injuries. He was then taken to The Ottawa Hospital’s trauma centre at the nearby Civic campus.Police have charged the driver of the car under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act with making an unsafe turn, Vincelette said.
