Ottawa Accident Canterbury High School Students, 2 girls left suffer serious injuries
Ottawa Injury Lawyer, David Hollingsworth. I’m sorry to report of this accident that has left 2 young girls with serious personal injuries. I wish them both a speedy and hopefully full recovery. A 17-year-old Ottawa boy has been charged with dangerous driving after two female Canterbury high school students were struck by a vehicle outside their high school during the lunch hour yesterday. The two girls, both 17, were seriously injured when they were hit by a mini-van as it backed up on school grounds at Canterbury High School. One of the girls was treated for a fractured leg. The other sustained head, neck and leg injury. Both girls were rushed to an Ottawa hospital and are listed in serious stable condition. Ottawa Police said the young driver lost control of the vehicle while using the school’s driveway, smashing out the rear window. The teenaged driver and his passenger were not injured.
