Pembroke-area man dies in ATV accident–My thoughts go out to this Pembroke man’s friends and family….A man was killed Sunday when he lost control of an ATV  he was driving in Laurentian Valley Township. Ontario Provincial Police say Lorne Trautrim, 43, of the Pembroke area, was fatally injured at about 1:30 p.m. when his ATV went off the road and overturned. He had been driving on a bush road — Station Hill Road, about 160 kilometres west of downtown Ottawa — when the accident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another male who was driving with Trautrim at the time, on a dirt bike, also lost control of his bike and suffered non-life threatening personal injury. Police say the two vehicles did not collide but the cause of the ATV accident is not known. Police are continuing to investigate.
