Lanark accident highway 511 results in 2 wrongful deaths.

Lanark County Police reported a two-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of one man and another suffering serious personal injury. The Lanark police were called to the intersection of Highway 511 and Drummond Concession 7 at about 7:17 p.m. yesterday, Sunday, Nov. 27.  The driver of a Mazda hatchback travelling west on Drummond Concession 7 and hit a GMC pickup truck  traveling south on Highway 511. Sadly, the driver of the pick up truck died and the driver of the other car was taken to an Ottawa hospital. Both men are residents of Lanark County.

Ontario Provincial Police say a Lanark County man identified as 47-year-old Christopher Curran died at the scene. Another man was seriously injured in the collision on Highway 511 Sunday.

Sadly, this morning OPP investigators said  that Ronald Cooper, 35, died in hospital as a result of his personal injuries.
