Ottawa car accident Gladstone and Metcalfe results in personal injury: hip injury and chest injury.

Ottawa Accident Gladstone and Metcalfe

Ottawa Injury Lawyer David Hollingsworth

An Ottawa car accident early this morning resulted in an Ottawa young woman being rushed to a hospital. The Ottawa car accident occurred close to my office at Gladstone Avenue and Metcalfe Street. When the cars hit, they were both sent flying and wound up on the sidewalk on Gladstone, knocking out a utility pole which resulted in a loss of power at the that intersection.  A passenger, a woman in her 20s was freed by Ottawa paramedics and rushed to the Ottawa Hospital; thankfully she is in stable condition. She suffered personal injury, including a hip injury and chest injury. Both drivers were uninjured.

A hip injury is considered to be an orthopaedic injury and often times these injuries do not  heal perfectly.  Often times, after an accident, people who have suffered an orthopaedic injury will continue to suffer complications long after the initial broken bones have healed. When it comes to severe orthopaedic injuries, often times the broken bones will leas to a breakdown in the supporting tissue, which can result in complicated nerve damage that may require other medical treatments such as surgery.  Often times , orthopaedic injuries leave people with long-term damage, health complications, arthritis, and chronic pain to name a few.

If you have been injured in a car accident, it’s important you know your rights and what compensation you may be entitled to . Contact an experienced personal injury lawyer for a free consultation so that you are informed and can make the best decision for yourself and your recovery.

If you would like to read about other orthopaedic injury lawsuits  and the amount of compensation associated with these injuries, visit our cases  page.  Our Ottawa personal injury lawyers can tell you that no two personal injury lawsuits are identical; however, there are often similar facts and outcomes.
