Hit and run accidents are sadly not uncommon. They also a bit complicated when it comes to insurance compensation claims. The reason being that if an injured pedestrian doesn’t have their own insurance policy, they must sue the insurance company of the driver who hit them. typically this would involve your personal injury lawyer putting the other side on notice and then starting a personal injury claim on your behalf. When the driver of the accident is unknown, the question is what insurance company would be responsible for the compensation.

- provides statutory accident benefits to people injured in an automobile accident who have no other insurance to turn to;
