Ottawa Victoria Day:
Garbage, green bin and recycling collection are all cancelled on Monday. All garbage pickup is delayed by a day for everyone all week.
Most grocery stores are closed including Loblaws, Costco, Farm Boy and some Metro stores. If you find that you need a grocery store, don’t forget you can always cross over the bridge and head into Gatineau.
LCBO and Beer stores are closed.
Shopping malls are closed except for the Rideau Centre.Malls closed include Bayshore Shopping Centre, St. Laurent Centre, Place d’Orléans, Carlingwood Shopping Centre and Merivale Mall.
Museums in Ottawa will be open
Many pools and recreation centres will be open, however registered programs are cancelled on Monday. If you are unsure; it’s best you check and confirm.
Public libraries and municipal child care centres are closed.
This weekend is also the last days for the Canadian Tulip Festival.
OC Transpo will be operating on Sunday schedule on Monday.
City Hall and client services centres is closed.
Ottawa public health services is closed.
